We had a lovely Graduation Ceremony for our Transition Years last night celebrating their many achievements and successes over the last year. Nine students represented the year group by speaking about all of their experiences: academic, sporting, work experience & entrepreneurship, artistic and more. We awarded Gaisce medals to very worthy recipients and awards for excellence across the year. Our TY Coordinator, Connie Davenport spoke about the importance of this year and congratulated the students on their successes. Many congratulations to all of our graduates and we wish them every success as they move forward into Senior Cycle!

Goodbye 6th Years!

What a fabulous few days of celebration we’ve had to congratulate our graduating class of 2026! On Friday, we kicked off with the annual student/teacher match where the teachers put up a valiant fight but the students emerged victorious with a final score of 6-2. This was followed by a delicious celebration lunch and a very special awards ceremony recognising excellence across school life in St. Fintan’s High School. The very deserving recipients of this year’s awards were: Laoch na Scoile Award 2026 – Brendan Dillon Edmund Rice Award 2026 – Michael Bolger Ard Ghradam Na Scoile 2026 – Harvey McGann Our students then left the school to a teacher’s guard of honour as they passed through the gates as students for the last time! On Monday night, we celebrated with a magnificent Graduation ceremony. The students looked resplendent in their suits and transformed into young men of the world before our eyes. With speeches, a memory lane slideshow, certificate presentation and music and song, we congratulated this fantastic year group wholeheartedly. We wish them every success in their exams and beyond. We will miss you lads!   The Big Match!! Lunch & Awards Ceremony The Graduation!
