St. Fintan's High School

Music Recitals

A freshly renovated music room displays the vibrancy of our music department. It is the perfect setting for students to reach their full musical potential in St. Fintan’s High School.

Along with curricular music for Junior and Senior Cycle, there is a wide array of extra-curricular options for students within the school. All first year students participate in choir classes once a week to encourage personal expression and student wellbeing.

The school band, trad band and guitar club run at lunch time throughout the week and are open to all students of all musical abilities.

Many performance opportunities are provided for students throughout the year both in the school and within the wider community. All exam classes participate in a music recital towards the end of the year to celebrate their musical progress as they prepare for their practical exams. The school band has performed in places such as St. Michael’s House, Raheny and Baldoyle, Crumlin Children’s Hospital and other local charity events.
