Our Arts Week & Neurodivergence Event has been a great success. It’s been an action packed few days with Samba Drumming sessions for 2nd and 5th Years, Cooking and Food Styling with Chef and Cookery Writer Oliver McCabe, Drop Everything & Draw with 1st Years and culminating in Talks this morning for students with ‘As I Am’ discussing Autism.
Our theme for the week has been celebrating individual skills, talents and uniqueness and this has been evident throughout the week.
Students have enjoyed our sensory room, listened to music and taken part in art activities at lunchtime and the corridor walls are packed with fantastic artworks by students across the school. Finally, our Transition Year group enjoyed a trip today to MOLI, the Museum of Literature!
