St. Fintan's High School

Enterprise

Enterprise

Teacher: Ciara Browne

Throughout the Enterprise module, students learn step by step how to create a viable business. From brainstorming their ideas through to establishing a fully functioning business, the students immerse themselves in an entrepreneurial journey where they grow and develop as young business-men. The students take part in the Student Enterprise Programme, which is Ireland’s biggest student enterprise competition and potentially have the opportunity to be entered into the National Final, where they will compete with Businesses from schools all over the country.

St. Fintan’s High School has a well established body of creative student businesses who have cemented themselves as significant contenders in this competition. Having won the Fingal County Student Enterprise Awards for several years, we added our most recent victory with Dublin Sanitize, the 2020 winners.

By embracing the new skills they will learn, this programme allows the students to foster a drive and passion for innovation, and cultivate life-long attributes they can take with them throughout their lives, long after their time in St. Fintan’s.
